Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG

I use many products from The Ordinary and I am 100% satisfied with them. I ordered the Caffeine Solution serum on the recommendation, after two weeks of use I found that the concealer started to burn under my eyes (later my skin also burned when applying the serum), the burning is only mild. I don't know where the mistake occurred, can anyone advise me? I have sensitive skin in the eye area, but it hasn't happened to me yet. The serum is great, I like using it, I just want to make sure that it's not possible to cause any injury. Thank you
